  • Anatomy Of The Wait

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly “WAIT” for the savior, the lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Today, we reflect on waiting and our attitude during the period of wait. For many of us, patience is not what is cultivated. Waiting make us inpatient, it makes us feel like we sometimes need to skip the process. No doubt, some waiting are good while some sucks.

However, we need to understand that waiting is part of our lives as Christian. In our world today, Christians are made to understand that God’s blessings is quick and sowing a seed to impress God to get a quick reward is a bad theology. These bad theology give Christians hard time to wait on God.

In today’s sermon, we reflect on the life of Joseph who waited on God for 24 years, Abraham waited 25years and David was anointed at the age of 15 and waited 22 years before he became the king of Israel. Let us therefore emulates the lives of these servant of God who waited patiently for God’s time so that our joy may be complete in Christ Jesus. May God’s grace be sufficient for us all Amen.

  • BE STILL

Psalm 46 vs 10 : He says, Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Our God is always with us and will never leave us nor forsake us. Just hold on unto to him and be thankful always. The lord will fight for you and always come through, you only need to be still and trust him.

  • Raising Our Expectation To God And Him Alone

Our reflection is from the book of JEREMIAH 33: 1 – 9. Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endures for ever. Again we hear God asking us; Is there anything too hard for me to do? Why do we always limit God’s ability by our own excuses. When God’s mission has been assigned to us, we need to shift our attitude and trust only in God because HE is always able to do all things and take care of the unseen.

God wants you and I to focus on him and Him alone. ISAIAH 55 : 6, We are urge to seek the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon Him while he is near. Therefore, give your all to God, be His instrument and not instrument of evil. Finally, I urge you to check your attitude towards GOD when he calls you.

May God help us to be instrument of his activities as we allow Him to use us and continue to raise our expectation to Him alone.

  • POWER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Again, I welcome you all to the year of HIGH PRAISE. As we begin the year with GOD, I want to encourage us all to praise God always in prayer, thought and action. The bible tells us that God abides in the praises of his people. When we magnify God, we invite His presences into our lives. It honors God’s greatness when we are able to magnify God and focus on his goodness in spite of our personal challenges.

There is a miracle that comes with praising and worshipping God. Let us therefore, devote ourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. When we praise and worship God, angels start fighting our battles and even the devil can’t stand it. There is a lot of blessings that comes with praising God that I want you to enjoy this year and all the days of your life. Through this practice, we testify that God is greater than all. AMEN, HALLELUJAH.

  • GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US.

Life itself can be overwhelming but when God himself shows up, you begin to experience His peace.

So today when you need a refill, when you need upliftment, seek God and allow him to embrace you.
